Woondienst Regio Tielt is an Inter-Municipal Cooperation between Ardooie, Dentergem, Pittem, Tielt and Wingene. Our goal? Working to tangibly improve the living situation of all residents. From sensitizing about informing and guiding to referring … we always put quality and dignified living first.

With a counter in each participating city/municipality, we are committed to providing easily accessible services for every (future) resident and homeowner in the region. In doing so, we always work “tailor-made” and with special attention to vulnerable groups in the housing market. In short, we are an active partner in local housing policy!

    Methodology

    After the application, a date is scheduled for the inspection of the house/apartment.
    During the inspection, the entire house/apartment is screened (and any common parts)
    After a positive inspection (or re-inspection), the owner/applicant receives a letter from the Municipality requesting payment for the issuance of the certificate of conformity.
    After payment, the certificate of conformity is sent to the owner/applicant.

    Cost of conformity certificate = € 200.00/entity - rooming house = € 200.00/room (preliminary inspection + 2 re-checks)

    Note

    The Mayor, the technical officials of the municipality appointed by him and the regional officials have the right to visit the building and the rooms between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in order to establish their conformity with the safety, health and housing quality standards and to verify compliance with the provisions of the Flemish Housing Code and the Chamber Decree. The landlord and the tenant are obliged to provide all necessary information to enable the conformity inspection to be carried out in the best conditions.
