SOCIAL RENTAL

Social renting

Anyone who wants to rent social housing must meet a number of conditions. In addition, you must be registered in the Central Registration Register. Are you unsure about the conditions? Or do you need help registering? Would you like to know what options you have during the waiting period for social housing? Anyone living in the Tielt region can come to us. Make an appointment at the housing counter near you and our team will be happy to help you!

After your application is submitted, the housing company follows up on your file. Woonstart is active in Pittem, Tielt and Wingene. For Dentergem it is Vivus. And for Ardooie this is Thuiswest.

Trial Living

Trial Living is for people who are not sufficiently ready to live completely independently. These include young people who are moving from a youth institution to live independently or people with physical or mental disabilities. Within their support framework, they can be given priority in the social rental market. That application can be made through the accompanying services. During the Trial Living these people are closely supervised so that after some time they have sufficient living skills.
