The Flemish government gives tenants a boost in various ways. The Flemish rent subsidy is there for people with a modest income, the Flemish rent premium is there for those who have been on the waiting list for social housing for more than four years. Flemish rent allowance
Have you been on the waiting list for social housing for four years? And in the meantime, are you renting a home on the private market? Then the Flemish government gives a monthly premium to help pay the rent. Those who qualify will automatically receive an application form. The application can also simply be done online.
